Summer, Running, Training and Blogging

I can't believe that Lil Man has graduated from pre-school. It's been a great year for us. Truly, it's been wonderful, and I am sad to see it come to an end. Both Lil Man and I are struggling with leaving his awesome pre-school, but I know a new chapter awaits. And, I'm sure it will be great also. It's just a change. You know how that is.. change can be scary.. even if it's good. But here comes summer.. and summer activities... and the balancing act of trying to figure out how to fit it all in. In the past, the first thing that has been skipped has been my strength training.. or running.. or cross-training.. or all of the above. So,

CozyPhones Headband

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature. Music is often a big part of my life. When I need a push on my workout or run, I always turn to music to help push me through the tough moments. For awhile now, I've been working on strength training. And I feel that I've reached a point, that I'd like to work with a trainer.... to work on form... to show me some new things that I haven't been doing.. to help me stay accountable... and to push me harder than I would normally push myself. Why is it that when I workout by myself, I stop when it gets 'tough', but a trainer can say just 3 more, and I'll give it all I have to get those 3 more reps?

Natural Sins Pack A Crunch

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature. Sometimes, you just want to eat something with a crunch. And for me, a sweet crunch is even better. I was given the opportunity to try Natural Sins And I would love to show you a picture of what the pineapple ones look like, but Lil Man ate them all. YES, I mean he ate 2 bags before I could even snap one picture. He liked them that much. I did get to try them, but he ate the majority of them.

When Life Is A Balancing Act

I've been struggling lately to fit it all in. Hubby has been super busy, at times non-existent, which has left me on my own.  Miles is an overgrown puppy who requires A LOT of time and attention.  Lil Man is growing too fast, and I want to make sure that I'm giving him the time that he needs ( plus, I want to make sure that I cherish this time with him ). That being said, things aren't getting done. Because, the reality is,
