Rechargeable Knuckle Lights

Full Disclosure: I received a free pair of knuckle lights free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. BUT I also purchased another pair during the kickstarter campaign. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience. It's that time of the year where the sun rises a little later in the day. Which for me means that I often run in the dark or at least start my run in the dark. Did I mention that I'm scared to run in the dark!! ha. But, if I want to run before Hubby goes to work, that often means, yep, running in the dark. I've been using ( affiliate link )   Knuckle Lights for years. My one big complaint was the battery life (or lack thereof) In fact, I took my batteries out after each run to try to conserve the battery life. It wasn't a big deal to have to put them in every time before a run. But that did require me to remember to grab the batteries with the lights, in addition to just taking the time to do it. So when I heard that ( affilia...

Rechargeable Knuckle Lights

I LOVE my Knuckle Lights. Ever since ( oh I can't even remember how long it's been ) I've been running in the dark, knuckle lights have been a life saver for me. My one complaint was the battery life ( or lack thereof ). I wound up taking the batteries out after each use so that it wouldn't run them down. But other than that, they've been great for me. I was super thrilled to hear that they are making an updated model - rechargeable, magnetic and they are also waterproof. Still Workin' On My Night Moves

*P lease Note: This post may contain affiliate links, which means I receive a commission if you make a purchase using the affiliate link. It's that time of the year... if I want to run before Hubby goes to work - it's dark. If I want to run after hubby gets home  - it's dark.  I can use the treadmill, but well.. we all know that the treadmill isn't called the dreadmill for no reason. So, that leaves me working on my night moves. If you remember from last year ( Workin' on my Night Moves - Fear Of The Dark)   I began running solo in the dark. It is still a work in progress. I am not afraid to run in the dark with friends, but running alone in the dark still takes a pep talk to get me out the door. But I have had several people ask me about my vest and my lights that I use when running in the dark.  *affiliate link*

Workin' On My Night Moves - Fear Of The Dark

Could it be? Was this just a fluke or was it for real? Is it possible that I am overcoming my fear of running solo in the dark? Today, I got up before anyone else could wake up. I snuck downstairs, got on the treadmill to get 1 mile before the crying began. (Lil Man - not me). He got his flu shot on Monday. He didn't sleep well last night. He was upset that his 'green light' on his clock wasn't on. He didn't want me to run. He did want me to run. Basic, 3 year old meltdown. It just happened to be at 5:40am.
