BeSportWise Running Belt - The Perfect Gear

Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

As you know, I won't run without my phone. I usually run alone, and even when I don't, I usually always run with my phone for safety in case my family needs me or if there is an issue on my run. So when I'm looking for a running belt, the first thing I check is to see if my iPhone will fit.

The BeSportWise Running belt not only had enough room for my phone, but for other personal items, and a separate zippered compartment for my key (or money). I can't express just how thrilled I am with the extra zippered compartment. If I'm pulling out my phone, or fuel, I don't have to worry about my key (or money) falling out since I can place it in the smaller zippered compartment.

Oh, and as an added bonus,
check out the spot for the headphone wire! Yep, I can put my iPhone in the BeSportWise Running belt and thread the wire through the slot so I can listen to my music while my phone is in the belt. This feature worked great!

I have run with this belt numerous times on training runs, and I wore it for my first double digit post injury race in the Capital 10 Miler (I Registered. I Ran. I Finished). It didn't slip. It didn't slide. I was able to open it mid-run get what I needed out of it, and close it back without any issues. It didn't bounce around or ride up or down.

I have the pockets turned around to the back, but I have worn it both in the front and in the back with no issues.

Check out this video from BeSportWise as this belt can be worn several different ways with lots of uses!

Or if you want to hear me in my own words :) check out my video review here.

All in all, I am extremely happy with my BeSportWise Running belt. I loved everything about it! And with the code 32R9TEKY you can save 10% from 03/18/2015 until 05/31/2015!

    1. I felt this one held more than my spibelt that I have. But I use my Spibelt for Hershey Park :) It's perfect for that!

Self Care Is Not Selfish It's Necessary

It's not selfish to take care of yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. And I'll say it just one more time in case you didn't hear me. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. I have found through experience that when I'm not taking care of myself, not only do I suffer but my family suffers. So ditch the mom guilt and take the time that you need! I have a tendency to keep pushing my needs aside until I reach a breaking point. We've had a very busy fun summer so far. However, I've struggled to get some quality ' me ' time to decompress. I'll spare you the meltdown that ensued. But the reality check that followed prompted me to take action.

Running My Life

Wow, has it really been 2 years since my last post? I suppose that I allowed life to get in the way. For any faithful blog readers, I apologize. Although, I'm not sure how many people actually read blogs anymore. I think most people use other social media platforms.  (By the way, drop by and say hi on Insta. )  But for some reason, each year when I pay for my google domain, I can't seem to let it go. As silly as it sounds, this little space is mine. And lately I've been struggling with ownership and acceptance. And my domain renewal was a not so gentle reminder that I have a voice .  Seriously, you'd think by 48 that I'd have this figured out - nope - apparently not. However, I am wise enough to know that we have a choice to allow situations to harms us or make us stronger. I'm choosing to let this mid-life quandary make me stronger. And because of this, I'm setting goals, taking charge, and reexamining priorities.  Movin' on...

When The Planner In You Must Be Flexible

In case you haven’t figured this out by now, I’m a planner. I know - shocker right?!? :) So although I love substitute teaching, it’s making the planner in me anxious. And it’s been reeking havoc on my workouts. Basically the morning of or maybe the night before, I find out if I’m working. So my day ( that I thought I had planned ) can be turned upside down in an instant. But, truthfully, isn’t that really the same with everyone?
