Get Outdoors With The Ninja Balaclava #GIVEAWAY

Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

It's no secret that I love the snow. I love everything (well not so much driving in it), but most everything else about it. I find it peaceful and beautiful.

And, I love running in it, but I'm not a huge fan of running in the cold. Running in the cold wind is even harder for me. But with the Ninja Balaclava I've been able to brave the harsh weather. So far my coldest run this year has been -6.

This week it warmed up to a real feel of 10 where I was able to get in my first 6 miles (post during injury) on my familiar running route.

The Ninja Balaclava  worked great for me. It's not as tight as some of the other ones I've tried. It shielded my face, but since it wasn't skin tight on me, I was able to get in some fresh air which actually helped with my breathing. It was easy to pull down and back up on my face as needed.

If you struggle with Winter running, I would encourage you to try the Ninja Balaclava. When I first tried running in the cold Winter, I really struggled with the cold. Now, I won't run in the winter without one.

After my run, I got nice and warm with the fleece neck warmer that came with the Ninja Balaclava.

I'm excited that one of you could win your own Ninja Balaclava and fleece neck warmer! Simply enter the giveaway tools below.

Giveaway is open to U.S. Residents, void where prohibited. Must be 18+. Only one entrant per household, per address. Winner is subject to eligibility verification. Winner will be contacted via email and have 48 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen.

  2. Yes I run outside and this winter has been brutal. I wear a headband under my hat for extra ear protection. Then a neck gaiter. This balaclava would be so great.

  7. This looks like a great product. We don't get much snow down here in the south. It could be useful when it gets real cold though. It definitely looks comfortable.

Pinrose Petal Pack Review and Giveaway - 10 Winners!

Bear with me, I know this blog is mainly about fitness, nutrition, and occasionally about being a stay-at-home mom, but I got the chance to review what I think is a pretty cool product and I wanted to share it with you. I'm not one to usually wear perfume. I have allergies, and I'm super sensitive to smells. So usually I just bypass perfume. But when I heard about Pinrose , I was intrigued. Being someone who is constantly in motion, and I know that many of you are the same way, I found this product to be very useful.  I'm talking about Pinrose, and their fragrances are in petal packs. They are perfect on-the-go packs. And on their website they have a  synesthesia   test where you basically look at a series of images and they conclude from that test what they think would be your best fragrances. I found the test very interesting. However, you were supposed to go with your gut and not think too long. On one of the images I actually changed my mind and changed...

Jogging Strollers Freedom And Fresh Air

Full Disclosure: I have partnered with Thule to #giveaway a Thule jogging stroller, but I have not been compensated in any form.  I remember when Lil Man was a baby. My only time to get in a workout was before Hubby went to work. Which meant I had to run at 5am or 6am after being up most of the night with Lil Man. You guessed it, those early morning runs just didn't happen most days. I tried. I really did, but I was exhausted. Yes, I have a treadmill which helped. But it didn't give me the freedom ( or the fresh air ) that my jogging stroller did. Pushing the stroller was hard. It became a challenge that I looked forward to overcoming. And on those days that running just wasn't going to happen, walking could. So I did. I could take Lil Man out at any time and get some exercise and fresh air. Sometimes it was all we needed to change both of our moods.

Pro Compression Marathon Socks Review & #Giveaway!

*affiliate links Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience. If you know me, or have been following my blog for awhile, then you know that I am a firm believe in compression. Last year, I started having calf cramps, and my running buddies suggested calf sleeves. I listened and I am so very glad that I did! And honestly, I won't run without using compression. And once my run is over, I will usually 9 times out of 10 put on a pair of Pro Compression Marathon Socks for recovery. (FYI, I also love their low trainers to run in) Sshhh.. don't tell Hubby but I have an entire drawer full of Pro Compression socks. And well, I wear them everywhere - grocery shopping, preschool, you name it.
