Welcome to my first edition of #TuesdayTidbit. Each Tuesday, I plan to have a little #TuesdayTidbit to pass along to you. Today's #TuesdayTibit is screw shoes.
No I haven't personally tried this, but I have friends who tried it last year, and they said it totally works. I do know that I was slipping and sliding, and their footing was definitely more secure. What am I talking about? Well it's the screw shoe.

And I plan to make my very own pair this year (with Hubby's help). For easy step by step instructions check out this page from skyrunner.com. Pretty much, I think all you need is a drill, some screws and some shoes :)
Do you run/walk outside in slippery conditions? Do you use screw shoes or something similar?
This great to know about because i have to do alot of work at home.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of these as an alternative to yaktrax. I'll need to try out something if I plan to run through the wintery conditions this year!
ReplyDeleteI love running in the snow, but I don't like black ice or slipping! :) I'm not sure about outside just yet this year either with my injury. But I'll give these a try if I do.
