My Thoughts On The Rad Dog Release N Run Leash

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received a Release N Run Leash for free from Rad Dog in consideration for a gear review. All opinions are mine and honest in nature

If you've been anywhere near me, then you know that Miles is a huge part of our lives. If you haven't met Miles, here is a picture of him when he was just a baby pup. Miles is a Mountain Cur.

Now, he will be 2 in December, and he's still just as adorable. He thinks he's a huge lap dog. He loves to lay on the back of the couch. It's ridiculous, but we love him.

He is my running buddy, but he's also Hubby's hunting dog. This means that he's outside a lot. When I run with him, he's usually on a leash. When he's with Hubby, he's usually off leash once they are in a safe place away from traffic. Hubby uses a tracking collar, but he needs a leash when they get near roads, or when he needs to make sure that he stays out of certain areas.

I wish we would have had the Release N Run l…

Mighty Nut Powdered Peanut Butter #EatMighty

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature.

Truthfully, I didn't know that powdered peanut butter existed until I started drinking protein shakes. I enjoyed the taste of peanut butter, but I was trying to cut calories. Powdered Peanut Butter was a great fit.

Mighty Nut makes a great powdered peanut butter, but it's not just for 'protein' shakes. I'm finding that powdered peanut butter can be used in a variety of ways.

You might be saying, what exactly is powdered peanut butter?
Might Nut Powdered Peanut butter is basically peanuts that have been roasted and then pressed. What is left is protein, fiber and a peanut buttery taste. It can be re-hydrated, or it can be used in its powder form. The original is 45 calories and 6 grams of protein.

Mighty Nut Powdered peanut butter comes in 4 flavors:

  • Original
  • Vanilla
  • Chocolate
  • Flax & Chia

I tried the original and the chocolate (shocker there on that one I'm sure).

I have always enjoyed chocolate milk as my recovery drink, but I'm trying to move away from syrups. So I thought I'd try a peanut butter, chocolate milk combo instead.

And I liked it! I tossed everything in the blender, and I now have a new recovery drink. I used whole milk, but you could use any type of liquid that you prefer. Basically it was:

2 Scoops Chocolate Mighty Nut Powdered Peanut Butter
8 oz Milk
1/2 Frozen Banana
1/4-1/2 cup of coffee

In addition to my new recovery drink, Lil Man and I made our 'healthy' version of ice cream. It's cold, creamy and enough of a sweetness to give us that sweet taste that we both love.

3 frozen bananas
2 scoops Mighty Nut Original Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened Cocoa Powder
About a cup of milk or so or until the desired consistency
Blend in the blender

Quick, easy and a satisfying snack.
