Might Nut Powdered Peanut butter is basically peanuts that have been roasted and then pressed. What is left is protein, fiber and a peanut buttery taste. It can be re-hydrated, or it can be used in its powder form. The original is 45 calories and 6 grams of protein.
Mighty Nut Powdered peanut butter comes in 4 flavors:
I tried the original and the chocolate (shocker there on that one I'm sure).
I have always enjoyed chocolate milk as my recovery drink, but I'm trying to move away from syrups. So I thought I'd try a peanut butter, chocolate milk combo instead.
And I liked it! I tossed everything in the blender, and I now have a new recovery drink. I used whole milk, but you could use any type of liquid that you prefer. Basically it was:
In addition to my new recovery drink, Lil Man and I made our 'healthy' version of ice cream. It's cold, creamy and enough of a sweetness to give us that sweet taste that we both love.
3 frozen bananas
2 scoops Mighty Nut Original Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened Cocoa Powder
About a cup of milk or so or until the desired consistency
Blend in the blender
Quick, easy and a satisfying snack.
