You Don't Want To Miss This Noxgear Giveaway

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Noxgear. All opinions expressed are my own and honest in nature. Use code AMYGLASS and save 35%.

Whether you workout before work or after work, chances are if you workout outside you'll be working out in the darkness or very dim light.

And one of my major pet peeves is to see runners or walkers or cyclists or really anyone out and about who doesn't make sure that they can be seen.

Because the majority of my workouts are before Hubby goes to work, and usually I'm solo, safety has always been a priority for me. And when I say that I won't run outside in the dark / low light/ fog without my Noxgear, I'm serious.

If you aren't sure what Noxgear is check out this video.

#TuesdayTidbit - Screw Shoes

Welcome to my first edition of #TuesdayTidbit. Each Tuesday, I plan to have a little #TuesdayTidbit to pass along to you. Today's #TuesdayTibit is screw shoes.

No I haven't personally tried this, but I have friends who tried it last year, and they said it totally works. I do know that I was slipping and sliding, and their footing was definitely more secure. What am I talking about? Well it's the screw shoe.

And I plan to make my very own pair this year (with Hubby's help). For easy step by step instructions check out this page from skyrunner.com. Pretty much, I think all you need is a drill, some screws and some shoes :)

Do you run/walk outside in slippery conditions? Do you use screw shoes or something similar?

  1. This great to know about because i have to do alot of work at home.

  2. I've heard of these as an alternative to yaktrax. I'll need to try out something if I plan to run through the wintery conditions this year!

    1. I love running in the snow, but I don't like black ice or slipping! :) I'm not sure about outside just yet this year either with my injury. But I'll give these a try if I do.
