The Perfect Night In With Tyson Foods and Redbox

Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own.

My family is definitely on the go. In the summer, it's amusement parks, playgrounds, swimming pools, hiking and playing outdoors. The winter usually brings snow (and lots of fun), along with school and sports activities, hiking and whatever else we can find to do during the cold months.

And although I do enjoy the occasional evening out, it's our movie nights (or even days) at home that makes my heart swell with memories. To me, there is just something about gathering together to enjoy time with each other which usually includes yummy food and a movie or two. It's the simple things in life.

With the help of Tyson® foods and Redbox®, life just got easier. From 2/6/17 to 4/15/17, if you purchase any two eligible Jimmy Dean®, State Fair®, or Tyson products in a single transaction at a Walmart Supercenter or Walmart Neighborhood Market, and visit www.TysonFreeMovieNight.com to upload your receipt, you will receive two Redbox promotional codes to be used at Redbox kiosks. Each promotional code is good for a free 1-night DVD rental.*

Hello movie night! It's really that simple - buy, snap, and enjoy.

Lil Man will be six this spring, and with supervision he enjoys cooking.

Tyson Foods makes it easy for him to prepare our meals. One of his favorites is Tyson chicken nuggets, and hubby's favorite is State Fair corn dogs. Although I have to admit I enjoy those too, one of my favorites is Jimmy Dean meatlovers hash browns. (And no you don't have to just eat them for breakfast!). They are awesome for lunch, dinner and definitely for snacking during a movie. I admit that I enjoy the easy-to-prepare delicious meals, and I love that I can include my family in preparing those meals.

If you are looking for a perfect night in, this is it. Look for Tyson's Products Winter to Go offer with Redbox at your Walmart store. #TysonFreeMovieNight

Pinrose Petal Pack Review and Giveaway - 10 Winners!

Bear with me, I know this blog is mainly about fitness, nutrition, and occasionally about being a stay-at-home mom, but I got the chance to review what I think is a pretty cool product and I wanted to share it with you. I'm not one to usually wear perfume. I have allergies, and I'm super sensitive to smells. So usually I just bypass perfume. But when I heard about Pinrose , I was intrigued. Being someone who is constantly in motion, and I know that many of you are the same way, I found this product to be very useful.  I'm talking about Pinrose, and their fragrances are in petal packs. They are perfect on-the-go packs. And on their website they have a  synesthesia   test where you basically look at a series of images and they conclude from that test what they think would be your best fragrances. I found the test very interesting. However, you were supposed to go with your gut and not think too long. On one of the images I actually changed my mind and changed...

Jogging Strollers Freedom And Fresh Air

Full Disclosure: I have partnered with Thule to #giveaway a Thule jogging stroller, but I have not been compensated in any form.  I remember when Lil Man was a baby. My only time to get in a workout was before Hubby went to work. Which meant I had to run at 5am or 6am after being up most of the night with Lil Man. You guessed it, those early morning runs just didn't happen most days. I tried. I really did, but I was exhausted. Yes, I have a treadmill which helped. But it didn't give me the freedom ( or the fresh air ) that my jogging stroller did. Pushing the stroller was hard. It became a challenge that I looked forward to overcoming. And on those days that running just wasn't going to happen, walking could. So I did. I could take Lil Man out at any time and get some exercise and fresh air. Sometimes it was all we needed to change both of our moods.

Pro Compression Marathon Socks Review & #Giveaway!

*affiliate links Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience. If you know me, or have been following my blog for awhile, then you know that I am a firm believe in compression. Last year, I started having calf cramps, and my running buddies suggested calf sleeves. I listened and I am so very glad that I did! And honestly, I won't run without using compression. And once my run is over, I will usually 9 times out of 10 put on a pair of Pro Compression Marathon Socks for recovery. (FYI, I also love their low trainers to run in) Sshhh.. don't tell Hubby but I have an entire drawer full of Pro Compression socks. And well, I wear them everywhere - grocery shopping, preschool, you name it.
