Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
If you haven't tried a virtual race, I really encourage you to check it out. (You can read more about virtual racing here)
This is my 2nd Virtual race with Running On The Wall and I did the If It Doesn't Challenge You, It Doesn't Change You 10K
Once again, the race packet was awesome - and I mean awesome!!
Not only did I get a great tank, but I got an inspirational magnet that I see every day on my frig, and arm sleeves. This time of the year, arm sleeves are a great! And I love that it says Go the Extra Mile. (FYI, if arm sleeves aren't your thing, there was also an option for a running hat). I also received a bib and a finisher's medal.
With a virtual race, I feel like I have the liberty to race on my own terms.

I'm one of those that won't wear the shirt or hang up my medal until I have completed the race. And this past week, I completed my 2nd Virtual 10K. This one was faster than the first, but by no means a PR for me for a 10K. My legs were super tired, and I had to stop and stretch a few times.
But, I keep reminding myself that running for me right now isn't about numbers. It's about running for the joy of running - and that's one reason I am really loving the virtual races.
Are you ready to try a virtual race? If so, check out Running On The Wall
Until next time....
