MyFitnessPal, Kombucha And Weight Loss
I've been experiencing achiness, redness and swollen joints (mainly my fingers). However, the pain started creeping into my ankles and toes along with muscle pain. I knew that I needed to see a DR to get tested for Lyme's. But also with going to the dr's office meant 'stepping on the scale'. The last time I weighed this much, I was pregnant with my son.
That's where I've Come Back to MyFitnessPal came into reality. Iwanted needed to starting focusing on what I am eating - not so much as calories but the food.
I went to the DR a week later and weighed in .... 118lbs. I asked the nurse to please make a note for the DR not to mention it. (FYI I'm 4'10" so that weight is above my 'normal' weight range). First of all, my son was with me and I didn't want a 'weight' talk in front of my impressionable 4 year old. And second, well second, I just wasn't in the mood to deal with someone bugging me about my weight. I'm smart enough to know that I need to drop some pounds for my health.
Thankfully, nothing about my weight was mentioned. My test results came back negative, but on the flip side, nothing was 'resolved' which is frustrating.
The first one I tried was Grape Chia. I've moved on to Multi-Green, Trilogy and Gingerade.

I'm probably looking at an elimination diet, and I was looking for a probiotic that wasn't from dairy. I found Kombucha. I've never had it before but was intrigued.

I am in love. I like the fizz. The taste at first can be a little strong, but I honestly felt a difference from the first day in how I felt. And I plan to continue drinking it.
I've also increased the amount of water that I drink as I'm trying to flush out my system to try to help with any inflammation.
And since that DR visit I have lost 2lbs. I'm still above my 'normal' range, but I'm working my way back to a healthier weight.
I'm curious to see how all of this works out. Stay tuned.
