Adding Resistance - Aurorae Resistance Bands

With school just around the corner, I've been working on my family schedule, workout schedule, and work schedule.

I'm trying to fit everything in without using all of Lil Man's preschool time as workout time at the gym. I don't have it all figured out yet, and I'm sure that I'll have to tweak it. But I do have a tentative plan.

And part of that plan is 'band day' - I'm talking about resistance bands. When I was working with a trainer, there were some sessions where the majority of the time that day was band work. I have to tell you that it was a great workout.

I've recently just so happened to come across Aurorae Resistance bands. What's different about these bands?


First - it comes as a set with 5 bands in various strengths. (2lbs all the way up to 30lbs). Each band has clips for handles! Yep, so you can attach the handle to any band that you want to use. AND you can double bands or triple if you need more resistance. (I'm not to that point yet but someday... someday...)

The bands also come with a great workout guide, door anchors and a cool carrying case.

Jogging Strollers Freedom And Fresh Air

Full Disclosure: I have partnered with Thule to #giveaway a Thule jogging stroller, but I have not been compensated in any form.  I remember when Lil Man was a baby. My only time to get in a workout was before Hubby went to work. Which meant I had to run at 5am or 6am after being up most of the night with Lil Man. You guessed it, those early morning runs just didn't happen most days. I tried. I really did, but I was exhausted. Yes, I have a treadmill which helped. But it didn't give me the freedom ( or the fresh air ) that my jogging stroller did. Pushing the stroller was hard. It became a challenge that I looked forward to overcoming. And on those days that running just wasn't going to happen, walking could. So I did. I could take Lil Man out at any time and get some exercise and fresh air. Sometimes it was all we needed to change both of our moods.
