Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
As you know, this year I'm including more trail running and strength training into my routine (#TuesdayTidbit - Trail Running Tips for Beginners) and I'm finding that my ankles aren't as strong as I thought they were. My trainer is really helping me with strength building, but I'm finding that I could use a little extra support (especially when I'm on the trail).
I had the opportunity to try Freak Tape Kinesiology tape.
I need to watch some more "how-to" videos on different ways to wrap, but right now this is one that works best for me. It's simple and quick.
My thoughts? It was easy to apply, stayed on very well, and seemed to have a lot of 'stretch' to it when I applied it. I had to make sure that I didn't pull too hard and get too much tension. So I think I will be able to use less of this tape compared to others. I usually try not to have any lotion on when I apply it, but I forgot and put lotion on earlier that morning. I didn't think the Freak Tape Kinesio tape would stick, but to my surprise it did. And it stayed on without any issues (now keep in mine that I had socks on over it).
But overall, I feel that the Freak Tape Kinesiology tape helps provide some stability while I'm out on the trail, or when doing activities that require a little more stability. If you are in the market for some kinesio tape, or you've never tried tape before, I encourage you to check out Freak Tape.

Glad you like it! It was a year ago at this time my daughter sprained her ankle and was all taped up for her track sectionals. I watched many of those taping videos!

I suffered shin splints for almost 10 years. It was so painful experience. You need appropriate exercise program for this kind of problem. If you want you can find useful information at http://never-never-never-give-up.com Good luck !
