You know that one of my pet peeves is to see people running in low light without reflective gear or lights. Especially, when it's so easy to make yourself seen. Check out the Swift-n-Snug running belt with LED lights.
I was in love at first sight. I loved the size, and of course I loved that it had LED lights. My main concern though was would it hold my iPhone because I usually always run with my phone.
pleasantly surprised that it did. I was able to stash my keys, my phone, and there was room for a couple of bags of sports beans.
I didn't have to adjust it once during the run. It stayed put. It was comfortable. I actually forgot that I was wearing it (which for me indications that it 'works' the way that I want it to). I did find it a little hard to get my phone back in without taking it off. I think it's because it has a slight curve (which works for a great fit), but I also just had my car key in the pouch and I was paranoid I would let it fall out. So I removed the belt (which was easy to do) to put my phone back in. I had stopped to take a few few pictures along my run.
The belt can be worn without the light turned on, or a solid light, a fast flashing light or a slow flashing light. The battery life is around 80 hours, and the instructions to change the battery seemed simple to follow.
Here is a short video of the belt 'in action'.

I don't run with a belt because I haven't found one yet that holds everything comfortably.
ReplyDeleteI don't run with a belt--yet. I've been looking for a belt OR a vest that is comfortable, lighted (or extremely reflective), and holds everything since it is dark at the best time to run. This looks like the answer.
