When I first heard about the Handana, I was curious. But when I heard the story behind it, then I knew I had to try it.
Have you ever heard for SJS (Stevens Johnson Syndrome)? I had no idea that this condition even existed. And when I read Katie Niemeyer's story I was inspired and in awe of her journey. You can watch a short video here Katie Niemeyer's Story (it's well worth the time to watch. For some reason I wasn't able to embed the video into the post.
Now that you know a little background info about the Handana, let's get to the actual product. I'm guilty of using the inside of my shirt to wipe my face and nose while running. So I was curious how the Handana would work. It's designed to wear on your hand to use to wipe away sweat or let's face it post nasal drip.So I took the Handana out for a run.
And..... I have used it on every run since that first run. It works great on either hand, And you can use the front or back of your hand to wipe away sweat or post nasal drip. It isn't binding, and I honestly I forget that I am wearing it until I need it. I did find that my hand did sweat a little (on a very hot run), but even then I would still choose to wear it.
It comes in several cute colors. And if you use this code handanafriends at MyHandana.com you can save 10%.
I have found it to be a great addition to my running gear. And I hope you enjoy it also.

I don't run and had never heard of this product. That does look very useful though for those who run.
ReplyDeleteWell, and i was just told it's great for yoga and other sports too. I imagine it would work well with anything that would cause you to sweat.
DeleteI used to run but don't anymore. I am really intrigued by this since I always use my hands and my shirt to wipe my face. Will really have to check this out.
ReplyDeleteYeah, my shirt was always my go to (ha)... but now I use this.
DeleteI need to start running more. Never heard of Handana before.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't either.. but I'm glad that I found out about it.
DeleteI could use one of these when I go walking. I am always looking for a way to wipe the sweat away.
ReplyDeleteYep, it would be great with walking or any type of exercise that makes you sweat.
DeleteWhat a clever idea. That would work well if you were missing or any kind of sweaty work
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteI would love to have one of these for when I go out walking, it's hot here in Arizona in the summer and I sweat daily.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would imagine it would be really hot in Arizona!
DeleteNever heard of this product before but I find it quite clever. I sweat like crazy when I am out exercising...it's Trinidad, so this is understandable. This product would come in very useful over here.
ReplyDelete:) Yep, I would say it would!
DeleteI've never heard of this before nor did I know that something like this existed.
ReplyDeleteMe either! I will think twice before taking medicine that's for sure.
DeleteThat is a really cool idea. I am going to mention this to a few of my running friends. They normally use their tshirt.
ReplyDeleteI know I love it :)
DeleteI had never heard of this before. Thanks for educating me. This product seems super smart and I am sure lots of people would benefit from it:)
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great product. My husband plays sports and I know how sweating can get in the way so he would love this for wearing while playing handball or paddle ball.
ReplyDeleteWhen I am exercising I sweat a lot especially on my face. Looks like I need to get a Handana.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like something useful. I'd recommend this to my uncle who loves running.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a runner but my friend JC might be interested in something like this. I've never heard of SJS, thank you for sharing the link so more people can learn about this!
ReplyDeleteI am SUCH an excessive sweater if I run, so this is an awesome idea! I am always using the bottom of my shirt, or shoulders, but I hate wiping sweat with a sweaty shirt! great review :)
ReplyDeleteThanks... I went out for a quick run this week and I couldn't believe how much I missed it. It's definitely one of my staple gear items for running now.
