Bear with me, I know this blog is mainly about fitness, nutrition, and occasionally about being a stay-at-home mom, but I got the chance to review what I think is a pretty cool product and I wanted to share it with you. I'm not one to usually wear perfume. I have allergies, and I'm super sensitive to smells. So usually I just bypass perfume. But when I heard about Pinrose , I was intrigued. Being someone who is constantly in motion, and I know that many of you are the same way, I found this product to be very useful. I'm talking about Pinrose, and their fragrances are in petal packs. They are perfect on-the-go packs. And on their website they have a synesthesia test where you basically look at a series of images and they conclude from that test what they think would be your best fragrances. I found the test very interesting. However, you were supposed to go with your gut and not think too long. On one of the images I actually changed my mind and changed...

So scary. I need to be better about my eating too. I try to consume a lot of fruits and veggies each day, but I eat things that aren't good for me everyday too. Good luck with overhauling your diet!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you received a good report in the end. So scary! And vertigo is horrible, I hope it passes quickly.
ReplyDeleteThanks.. I'm feeling some better.. SOOOO very thankful for that. And I'm very relieved for the good report.. (big sigh of relief)
DeleteEek! Found you on running bloggers, hope you feel better soon and wishing you a speedy recovery from the vertigo. I'm glad the issue wasn't as bad as you initially thought and hopefully some life changes will help things. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks! And yes, I'm breathing a big sigh of relief that it wasn't as bad as we initially thought.
DeleteOh my what a scare! I'm very glad it turned out not to be so serious and I hope you start feeling better soon. I had a wake up call a couple years ago which led to me begin running and really change my eating style. Not that I was that bad before, but I definitely needed to make improvements. My wake up call was a pancreas attack a couple months after Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer, so needless to say, I freaked out! I'm turning 40 this year, we're just all entering a new chapter in terms of our bodies and health. Many hugs and you can definitely make the dietary changes that will improve so much! I still have my splurges here and there, but as long as the overall primary way of eating is based on eliminating as much processed junk and whole food based, the better :)
ReplyDeleteYes.. it was definitely a 'wait a minute what's going on' moment. And super scary about your pancreas attack! I've read your blog. You eat WAY healthier than I do :). I've started by adding more fruits and veggies. And I plan to start eliminating processed food a little more each day.
DeleteThanks for sharing! That is SO scary! Good thing that you can change it to make sure that it doesn't happen again! Might have to change the name of the blog soon enough!
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention the blog name :) And I seriously thought about changing it. And then I thought, that I still do Run for Ice Cream in a sense. Because I do run, I am able to eat it in MODERATION :)I think moderation is the big key for me.
