Sooooo.. I was told not to run any farther than 3 miles until I had no pain while running (with a NO cheating thrown in there). I did make it 3 miles on the treadmill today (yeah!), but I had slight pain in my calves and behind my knees (boo!). Also, I usually run with the incline at 1%, but I had to keep it at 0% today. I guess that means I'm still recovering from the Half. This has thrown my training schedule off, but thankfully I'm not freaking out about it (at the moment). It's also going to be off the next couple of weeks; I'm just trying to make the best of it.
I'm happy that I'm able to run 3 miles and that things are improving. I did yoga today and was very surprised at how tight everything was. But I was also shown some stretching exercise to help with my knee.
So it looks like tomorrow will be another 3 miler and see how it goes.
