What Being Injured Is Giving Me

*This post contains affiliate links.*
I have to say that one thing being injured can give you is a lot of time to think. Sometimes this is a good thing - sometimes not so much. This year has been a tough one for me when it comes to injuries. The 5 month and counting hip injury really put a damper on my fitness goals this year. Then I got staph as soon as I was cleared to run. That set me back. Then the hip got super angry again, and now this (When Life Throws You A Curveball)

It's July ya'll, and I have only had a few weeks here and there this year of running consistently. It's been my worst year to date to deal with such issues. And mentally I was finally ready to run races. I had registered for both the Harrisburg and Hershey half this year. Well, we all know that's not going to happen. I'm still hobbling around in a boot. Thankfully, I was able to transfer those bibs through the registration system.

But, lately I couldn't help but wonder where does this leav…

My Thoughts On Stridebox

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature. I was NOT asked to write a review of this product.

As my disclaimer states, I was not asked to write a review about Stridebox, but I liked the product so much I thought I'd do a quick shout out.

In case you've never heard of Stridebox, it's a monthly subscription to running (I would also say fitness) related products. Basically you sign up ($15 a month) and each month you are sent a cool box. Inside it's always a surprise!

So far I have received 3, and I've been pleased with what was inside.

I love the variety of items. I think one of my favorite items was the Rundana which I wound up ordering another one or two.

From skin protection, to shoe strings, to flashing lights, to nutrition, to endurance fuels and motivational stickers, it's been fun to receive my Stridebox each month.

If you have a runner in your life, it would also make a great gift.... just a suggestion.

  1. Interesting! I've been seeing all kinds of subscription boxes lately, and they are such a fun idea. Of course, I could easily spend my life savings having packages sent to myself every month. LOL! Anyway, I like the idea of a fitness/health one. It's much more productive than the other ones I've been eyeing up. :)

    1. This would have been super helpful when I was running longer distances. But they do have a great variety of products.
