Your Body Is A Gift

Image
It was like I had a major light bulb moment. I mean for the last 6 years, weight loss has always been a goal along with getting more physically fit and stronger. And I've heard people say that you only have one body, and you need to take care of it blah blah blah...

But it's like I felt this on a personal level - like WAKE UP GIRL! You have ONE BODY. It's YOUR responsibility to take care of the GIFT that you have been given. I experienced this while I was in bed with pain in both of my feet. My right foot was throbbing from the arthritis, and my left foot was in as much pain from my plantar fasciitis. In that moment it didn't take a genius to figure out that my body is really dealing with a lot of inflammation. And that I had been eating more for fun than for healing and nutrition.

It was definitely another nudge for me to really work on focusing to eat with a purpose. Oh, another highly processed cookie, another scoop of ice cream, another handful of marshmallows re…

Kinetiks Knee Pain Relief Support Brace

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature.

Throughout the years, on more than one occasion, I've needed a knee brace. But when I decided to review the Kinetiks Knee pain relief brace, I didn't expect to actually need it. Surprise!!! (feel the sarcasm). This week I'm walking with knee pain. Grrr... apparently I either didn't have the spin bike set up right, or it's overuse and I've done too much too soon. Or it could be all of the above.

Regardless, testing the Kinetiks Knee pain relief brace came at the right time for me. This is actually the first brace that I've tried that has a padded ring that goes around the knee cap to help hold the knee cap in place.

Putting the brace on was super easy. Basically put the brace over your knee, attach the bottom middle strap, then the other two top straps. And the second I put it on I felt relief. (I'm not sure for me if that's a good thing or not because that means that my knee definitely needed some support). But yes, I got instant relief after putting the brace on.

Because of the velcro, it's adjustable as needed.

It was comfortable to wear all day. And yes I wore it all day. In fact, I forgot that it was on because it relieved my knee pain. Future post to come, but I wound up going to Physical Therapy this week for my hamstring injury, and the knee pain was also brought up, It's possible that my patella isn't gliding properly. So, can we say perfect timing that I now have this brace?

If you are looking for a sturdy, easy to use, stretchable, adjustable, what appears to be (so far) durable knee brace, I do encourage you to check out the Kinetiks Knee Pain Relief Support Brace
