Injury Update - YES The Doctor Told Me To

Image
Just wanted to give a quick update for anyone who might not have already heard. I went last week for a follow-up. I was actually in a lot of pain, as much pain as when the injury began. The x-ray did not show any fractures, BUT I was told that I could still have a fracture. I will need a bone scan or MRI to completely rule out any fractures. What did show up, however,

Running On The Wall Always Earned Never Given

Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Where does the time go? Seriously, this holiday weekend just flew by - Lil Man and I enjoyed Hubby being home with us for an extended weekend.

I also enjoyed some much needed time on the trail before the PA opening day of deer season this week. I'll stay out off the trails this week for safety and in fairness for the hunters. I will miss it though.

But, last week I completed my Running On The Wall Always Earned Never Given virtual race.

I ran a trail run for my 'virtual' 5 mile race. It was awesome. I took several minutes off of my last 5 miles on this trail.

It was fun - challenging as always - and just what I needed.

Seriously, if you haven't signed up for a virtual race, I encourage you to do so. Check out this awesome race packet from Running On the Wall

I can't wait to run my next one!

Have you ever run virtual races?

  7. A few years ago I signed up for practically every virtual race I read about. It was so much fun and a great way to mix up training.
