Injury Update - YES The Doctor Told Me To

Image
Just wanted to give a quick update for anyone who might not have already heard. I went last week for a follow-up. I was actually in a lot of pain, as much pain as when the injury began. The x-ray did not show any fractures, BUT I was told that I could still have a fracture. I will need a bone scan or MRI to completely rule out any fractures. What did show up, however,

Jumping Rope With The Limm High Speed Jump Rope

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature.

I'm not going to lie, it's been a very long time since I've used a jump rope. But the first image I have in my head when I think of jumping rope is toned boxers in movies. :) I'm pretty sure this is going to be a great addition to my strength training and existing cardio routine.

The Limm High Speed Jump Rope came at the perfect time for me. It's compact and easy to carry - with summer plans and traveling it's going to be my go-to for cardio when I can't sneak in a run or a trip to the gym. It's also great for at home because it's something that I can do while Lil Man is busy with an activity. What if I jumped roped during commercials? There are endless opportunities to jumping rope.

But let me say, within a few minutes my heart
was racing. I can see this as being a total body workout. And for a few workout ideas check this out

The Limm jump rope was easy to adjust to my height. I'm 4'10" so yes it had to be shortened. The foam handles were easy on my hands. It didn't tangle, and it has a ball bearing system for fast turnover.  As I get more advanced I can see myself utilizing the faster turnover.

I found the Limm jump rope to be durable and a great quality rope.

If you already have a jump rope, I encourage you to check this one out. If you don't already jump rope, what are you waiting for? (cue the Rocky Theme Song)

  1. Might have to break out the Poise pads, but this looks like a great way to burn some extra calories when it is too hot outside for a run!
