Your Body Is A Gift

It was like I had a major light bulb moment. I mean for the last 6 years, weight loss has always been a goal along with getting more physically fit and stronger. And I've heard people say that you only have one body, and you need to take care of it blah blah blah...

But it's like I felt this on a personal level - like WAKE UP GIRL! You have ONE BODY. It's YOUR responsibility to take care of the GIFT that you have been given. I experienced this while I was in bed with pain in both of my feet. My right foot was throbbing from the arthritis, and my left foot was in as much pain from my plantar fasciitis. In that moment it didn't take a genius to figure out that my body is really dealing with a lot of inflammation. And that I had been eating more for fun than for healing and nutrition.

It was definitely another nudge for me to really work on focusing to eat with a purpose. Oh, another highly processed cookie, another scoop of ice cream, another handful of marshmallows re…

CozyPhones Headband

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature.

Music is often a big part of my life. When I need a push on my workout or run, I always turn to music to help push me through the tough moments.

When I want to relax or just need a moment to chill, I often turn to music to help relax me.

Check out CozyPhones. It's a headband with built in speakers.

One thing that I really liked about CozyPhones was that there
aren't any earbuds to fall out of my ears. CozyPhones were comfortable to wear. I think they would work great in the winter. I did find them a little too warm for warmer weather for working out outside. But on the flip side, if you wear headbands, this did work as a sweatband in addition to being able to listen to music. For me, I did find it a little too warm.

However, for relaxing, they will be perfect all year. I could lay down comfortably and listen to music.

And for those curious, yes they are washable. That was my first thought. because when I workout, I don't glisten. I sweat, like a bucket of water over my head sweat. So yes, CozyPhones are washable. You pull the electronics out, wash them and then put the electronics back in. (a very simple process)

And, they have some really cure designs for kids (You can see those here)

Overall, I think CozyPhones are a great invention. I'm glad that I was able to give them a try, and I know this summer during travel they will definitely come in handy...

Check them out...
