You Don't Have To Race To Be A Runner

Ok.... just gonna toss this out there... if you aren't currently running races / participating in organized events, it does NOT make you any less of a runner or athlete. This past year has definitely been a whirlwind of a year with injuries and health related issues for me. But because of my experiences, it's also changed my perspective on a lot of things.

Not The Typical Year End Review

We've all noticed them. They start popping up this time of the year. I too have contributed in the past (You can read 2013's here) - The "Year End" review. Usually in my social circle they consist of # of miles run, racing accomplishments, memories of accomplishments over the past year.

This year I'm not really sure of my miles run. My racing has been limited, and my accomplishments haven't been PRs. But that being said...

This did happen...


My First Time Getting Lost On The Trail

And a big turning point for me this year ..... becoming the woman that I am meant to be..


Trail Running became a big part of my life. And it's changed my life. I do believe this post sums it up. Becoming the Woman that I Am Meant To Be

I'm leaving 2015 feeling confident...

"with each step I'm becoming the woman that I am meant to be. With each run, I am becoming a stronger more confident person."
