Want to know how?
I simply uploaded a copy of a receipt where I purchased a Stayfree product to http://myyoga.stayfree.com/. Yep, it was that simple.

Just purchase any Stayfree product between January 8 and March 12, 2015, upload your receipt to http://myyoga.stayfree.com/ and get a 30-day membership to My Yoga on Gaiam TV.

I went to my local Target where I had several products to choose from...

You can also go here to find out where you can purchase Stayfree Products.

I couldn't believe the huge number of videos available on Gaiam TV! There are numerous categories from I Love Yoga, weight loss, beginners yoga,  and the list goes on and on. I'm not sure which video I'm going to start with first, but I think it's going to be the Yoga Pilates Morning Mix.

I can't wait to use my 30-day FREE membership to My Yoga on Gaiam TV.

Don't miss out! Remember, to get your 30-day free membership, just purchase any Stayfree product between January 8 and March 12, 2015, and upload your receipt to http://myyoga.stayfree.com/

Namaste

  1. Interesting how a feminine care company partnered up with a fitness and yoga company. I have done many Gaiam DVDs, especially their pre and post natal yoga exercises and they were awesome. My only problem is that I find it so hard to build time for fitness into my already jam packed day. Any tips?

    1. Break it up - instead of trying to do an entire 30 min workout, sneak in 10 minutes (or even 5) here and there. It's what I have to do. :)

  2. I love all the running videos they have to offer too!

  4. What a great partnership and opportunity! Forgive me for being a new follower, but are you really into Yoga? I just started the 21 Day Fix, and there is a Yoga section. I have quickly found out that I am not very limber! Haha. I have so much admiration for those that embrace Yoga! :)

    1. I'm "learning' to embrace it.. My hamstrings and some areas are NOT limber and holding some of the poses are really difficult .. but I'm hoping to embrace it more. I think it will help with my running, and I'm hoping it will help me stay injury free!

  5. Wow! Doing yoga is absolutely one of the most relaxing and calming exercises I've ever tried. Subscribing to a program on TV with a lot of categories sounds great. What's even greater is that it's for free. I hope you enjoy your yoga pilates morning mix. :)

  6. I absolutely LOVE yoga so that's an AMAZING offer! Too bad it's not Spring yet and I can't enjoy my free yoga videos outside in the warmth and sunlight.

Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic offer with us :)

    1. Yeah, I don't think that 'cold' yoga sounds too fun ha ha. I would love to do yoga on the beach some day.

  7. I go to yoga quite often, it definitely helps with my hips (and is great for mobility since I'm a rock climber). Yin is my favourite type to go to though because I love the deep stretches.

Omg I stocked up on some Stayfree products a number of years ago when I had some awesome coupon where I could get the pads + liners for nearly nothing. I still have a stockpile of them (probably 7 or 8 packs) haha! I love their stuff.

    1. I am hoping that it will help with my hips since that's what has helped create this hamstring injury.

    1. I totally would. It's free and LOTS of different levels to choose from. And I'll be doing a lot of the 'beginner' things. I also saw some areas where it explained all of the poses (which I needed)

  12. For a hot second I thought Stayfree was apart of yoga, but excuse me it's almost 3am. haha. Anyways, I've always enjoyed stayfree over the other brands. I've always wanted to try yoga. I should give this a try, might actually enjoy it. I need something for my stress and anxiety.

  13. I appreciate Gaiam TV, and I have learned so much through their educational and inspirational programs. This is a great opportunity to see their yoga offerings. I know that I can feel a significant difference when I keep in line with my yoga practice. We hike or snowshoe almost every week, and if I miss working out I can feel more difficulties when we are out on our treks. Curious to check this out!

Self Care Is Not Selfish It's Necessary

It's not selfish to take care of yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. And I'll say it just one more time in case you didn't hear me. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. I have found through experience that when I'm not taking care of myself, not only do I suffer but my family suffers. So ditch the mom guilt and take the time that you need! I have a tendency to keep pushing my needs aside until I reach a breaking point. We've had a very busy fun summer so far. However, I've struggled to get some quality ' me ' time to decompress. I'll spare you the meltdown that ensued. But the reality check that followed prompted me to take action.

Running My Life

Wow, has it really been 2 years since my last post? I suppose that I allowed life to get in the way. For any faithful blog readers, I apologize. Although, I'm not sure how many people actually read blogs anymore. I think most people use other social media platforms.  (By the way, drop by and say hi on Insta. )  But for some reason, each year when I pay for my google domain, I can't seem to let it go. As silly as it sounds, this little space is mine. And lately I've been struggling with ownership and acceptance. And my domain renewal was a not so gentle reminder that I have a voice .  Seriously, you'd think by 48 that I'd have this figured out - nope - apparently not. However, I am wise enough to know that we have a choice to allow situations to harms us or make us stronger. I'm choosing to let this mid-life quandary make me stronger. And because of this, I'm setting goals, taking charge, and reexamining priorities.  Movin' on...

When The Planner In You Must Be Flexible

In case you haven’t figured this out by now, I’m a planner. I know - shocker right?!? :) So although I love substitute teaching, it’s making the planner in me anxious. And it’s been reeking havoc on my workouts. Basically the morning of or maybe the night before, I find out if I’m working. So my day ( that I thought I had planned ) can be turned upside down in an instant. But, truthfully, isn’t that really the same with everyone?
